Ever wondered what these so called “Patrons” do with all the free time they have one their hands, berk?
Let’s face it, they are as close to true immortality as anyone gets, coin is not one of their concerns, so what is it that they actually do?
What would you do, if you were a powerful being who can even change reality at a whim and is not bound by the constraints that affect the Powers themselves?
Yes, yes, berk, they make pacts to make mortals, and other bodies, carry out missions, quests or tasks for them, but that still does not tell you why they do that.
Some say it's acting on a whim, some claim that is to expand their influence across the planes and gather more power.
The only way to know for sure is to follow one of their designs and see for yourself I guess - keep in mind, it might put you in the dead book before your time.
Chant on the street is that three of these “Patrons” are looking for something through their proxies on the great wheel and the dark of it is said to be this:
The Everbright is looking for some long forgotten Limbo artefact - that only proves how barmy that celestial is to look for the Slaad’s Inkwell.
The Evil that is, keeping in mind that morality is based on perception, is supposedly looking for a part of the mind of Primus.
The Great Young One, as expected from one being indeed the newest to the whole “Patron” lot, is looking for something everyone steered clear from so far…none of the old patrons would try to recreate Aoskar’s key.
This is where a set of two adventures for each of my favourite Planescape meddlers will appear. And if you know the rule of threes - see two things, look for third!
WIP so far, I'm hoping to start it off in 2021.
Update 2022.11.28 - It apparently was failed wish to start in 2021, but at least we get to start today. Notes will appear infrequently in their respective sections.
